Best Drummer In The World?

Whats everyones opinion on the worlds best drummer. For me the best Ive heard is Steve White who is the older brother of Alan White who is the drummer from Oasis. Steve is also the drummer for Paul Weller, absolutly brilliant and doesnt some fantastic solos.

The worlds best drummer?? I guess that would be Carter Beauford from Dave Matthews Band..

It's a silly, pointless, sophomoric discussion. It's much too subjective a topic to be a valid discussion. There is no such thing as, nor an effective way to measure, the 'world's best' drummer, anyway. No one who really knows and cares about drumming and what it is and should be about would participate in such a stupid discussion.

What? see what I mean? I can put my name along with Steve because I know the guy-I even had lessons from him once! Now I know is is Super Fast and Clean, and he is a simply Amazing Drummer

There is not a worlds' best drummer! There are DIFFERENT drummers. Of course you can always have you own personal favorites.

Solos don't make the worlds greatest drummer, maybe in their own minds. Being versatile and able to play for the music and interject one's creativity make a great drummer.
