Best under-rated Drummer

I thought I was the best underated drummer,on my street? Seriously, I like Eric Singer alot.

Keith Moon, John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, et. al. I've read this same debate for thirty years. How about a new poll: Best under-rated drummer? My votes go to Bobby Caldwell (Captain Beyond, Johnny Winter) & Jon Hiseman (Collisseum). Best current under-rated drummer: Apt. Q258, a.k.a. Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit, Jazz is dead & Jonas Hellborg). These three drummers arewere awesome and deserve a lot more

your sentiments must be shared by many, the letters section in the new MD, lambaste them for putting tommy lee on the cover also.

I say Jimmy Chamberlin!

he's not underrated... it's just that nobody likes the smashing pumpkins anymore, so he gets tossed in the fire with them. Also, his name is kinda taboo in the press since his heroin thing.

He is, however... an excellent, excellent drummer. Speed, power, precision, style flexibility, ingenuity, and delicacy all in one awesome package. AND not to mention, he's my personal drumming hero... so there ya go.

I think he used to use a Yamaha kit wrapped in white marine pearl (gotta love 'em for that!). Now he's got a Yamaha kit covered in some funky, yellow, 3D moire thang! Maybe the drugs are still wearing off. Anyway, now that STP are supposedly no more, It'd be nice to see him continue now that he's kicked his demons!

Really there are so many drummser's , Guitar's , Bass , and many more musician's out there .I just can't name them all ...Real Good one's

How could anyone say that Ginger Baker was one of the most over rated drummers of all time and had a horrible drum sound ? You talking about a guy from back in the 60's who is a legend and played with 2 of the Greatest Bands of all time THE CREAM and BLIND FAITH ! If this offends you then please except my apology
