Hey Brian!

Good luck on your teaching career. I have been an instructor for the past 8 years here in CA. Persuing the clinics is a great thing and will net you many students. Also, try to plug into a music store and give private lessons there. Advice- get paid monthly, at the beginning of the month. $70 per 4 1/2 hour lessons is the usual rate in North San Diego County and $50 per hour is good for housecalls. You can make a good little chunk of $$ teaching.

Now- as you are a teacher, learn to F**KING spell the last names of your peers. 'Garibaldi.' 'Weckl'. 'Bissonette' 'Bellson' 'Portnoy'

Remember, you are the guy feeding the info to the student. Garbage in/Garbage out.

I'm down in Vista if you want to drop by sometime. Just Email and we'll hook it up.

Oh BTW- you never know who you'll end up teaching or who one of your students might 'end up as.'

That's No Doubt.
