Hi, I have been playing for 2 years now, and I have a problem. My hi-hat stand, has been creeping since I bought the set, and I am on a wooden floor. Any suggestions to get it to stop??? Thank You!

1) get a carpet and turn those little screws that make the pointy things stick down so it won't creep.

2) invest in a roll of duct tape.

You'd be better off getting a carpet. I have one and I use it to mark all my stands positions, so tearing down and setting back up is a breeze. I have a pretty complicated set-up, all off stands, so it helps alot. Those are just some suggestions. hope they help.

Ditto... get a small roll of carpet. Also good for muffling sound for downstairs neighbors and marking with duct tape to duplicate your setup when going to that big gig (or practice). Drum on, Alan R

he's right...the rope or bungee cord between the stool and high hat stand or bass drum is the best way to do it...I was playing a gig once and the hats were moving all over..the soundman came over and bungeed the thing to my stool while I was playing.......it worked like a charm..thank god he was a drummer to..he knows how much that stinks

You could use some multiclamps and attach it to your bassdrum.

Does your stand not have screws with pointed ends? If not buy some velcro to stick to bottom of the hihat and stick the other piece on the carpet if you have one.
