Hiya Kim,

Dave's trademark 'blickums' are the eighth-note fills alternating between snare/ floortom flams and bass drum... I can't remember the name of the song at the moment, but it's on Nevermind and they made the black and white video (ala old Beatles performances on TV back in the day) for it... ANYWAY, the beginning of that tune is the best example of 'blickums' I can come up with for the time being...

That help?

It wasn't a matter of liking or disliking them. Personally, I think they work wonderfully for what he/they were doing, I was just mentioning them as one of 'those caveman, Phil Rudd-esque' moves that deserve an official nickname or whatever...

I was also looking to see if anyone else here knew of any funny names for similar fills, etc. There's a couple of Dave Abruzezze (sp?) patent fills that could use a nickname, but I just woke up from a nap and the brain ain't workin'...
