Yam Maple Custom Jazz kit Gorgeous BRAND new Maple Custom kit. Turquoise lacquer, 18x14, 10x7.5, 12x8, 14x14 and double tom mount. This kit retails for $3340.00. I'll let it go for $1600.00. Grab it before it goes to Ebay. If you order a new one, you will get the 7 ply floor tom instead of the more sought after 10 ply floor tom. This is a new and BAD move that Yamaha has made to the Maple Custom floor toms. This is a GREAT Jazz kit. I got it from a store that was going under. Go here to see the color:

Why do you consider it a 'bad' move? Floor toms are already big enough to have enough volume and projection. The thinner shell will help accentuate the lows. Isn't that what most people would want from a floor tom? -strat81
