i was wondering if anybody knew how heavy each of the 2 bags yamaha's hipgig kit were? (the total weight with all of the drums and hardware in them)
also: has anyone had any good experiences with pearl's ryhthm traveler portable set, as far as portability?
thanks in advance to anyone who responds

I have the RT kit.. and it's quite portable. I don't have any bags or anything.. and I can get the whole kit including hardware in 2-3 trips depending how lazy I want to be. If you had a nice deep bass drum bag, then you could easily get all the toms and stuff in one back, and then another for hardware. Put the cymbal bag on your back and you're ready to go in one easy trip. I have a recording I did of the kit with the heads on it in my bedroom with one mic, and I've had a couple of people say that it was very Bonham-ish.. so you can get a pretty big sound out of them if you tune them right. Good luck!
