I play with either ProMark 747's or Neil Peart 747's made from Japanese Oak. The latter are my favorites. They are a little thinner and a little longer.. but still pretty heavy. They also take a beating too. Last the longest of any of my sticks. They are also $12 a pair! (CDN)

I love the Steve Gadd sticks. They're very well balanced, have a great feel to them and there's just something subtle about the way they sound.
I couldn't tell you exactly why I like them so much, but I've tried a lot of other sticks and just keep coming back to them.

The Fat boys might possibly be JohnnyraBB's. I think they're out of Memphis.. I use Trak 7a woodtips. they get the job done, for a cheaper stick. Perfect weight for the stuff I do...

No No No!! The FATBACK stick was originally designed by Mr. Eddie Tuduri and was part of the Rimshot line- no wait- Rimshot DID have a Fat boy!!! Anyhow, back to our history lesson- Carolina Stick Co. and Eddie teamed up to put out the Fatback model and the Funkbutt. Both stick designs are now enjoying life as some new Zildjian model.

Are Rimshot still around, or have they been assimilated by Zildjian?
