Yeah. Made by Pearl I believe. Cheap stuff, but serves its purpose. expect to purchase a new kit soon after that.

not as strong as the 'big' brands ie. Pearl, Yamaha, Premier etc.etc. If you're a working professional I would probably say 'don't go there'.

Yes, in the past Billy Cobham has been endorsing Mapes drums... I don't know if he still is. But you can do a search on the major search engines and pull up his official website. Sorry, I forgot the URL off-hand, but it's definitely out there...

They are not made by pearl at all ....

Them drums are made in Japan ..and some the parts are made over sea's ...
