I'm a fairly new drummer. Only about a year, and I'm wondering how long all of you practice on the average each day?

Thanks!!

Right now my one and only kit is in the gig truck and I haven't played it for 3 days. But I usually practice 1 hr per day. Rudiments, Cd's and fun.

Personally, I'm trying to play an hour a day, but I can't always make it! Some days I don't practice at all, sad to say... But I've been trying to work harder, lately!

I make sure I do at least an hour a day. It isn't the best, but I never have learned my rudiments. I spend my rehearsal time working out new beats, with at least 1/2 hr. doing paradiddles and buzz-rolls.

Of course practicing will get you gigs you moron. What, you think playing slow and bad will get you gigs? I can see why you would get no work. Go ahead...buy a stupid drum o meter and fall for Johnny Rabb and his cheap gimmicks!
