I have been playing drums for almost 20 years, and have owned many different kits. Ive had Gretch, Ludwig,Cb700,Mapex,and Premier. I recently(1-1/2 years ago) bought a brand new 4 piece kit of Premier APKs

I agree with you. I'm actually an ex-employee of Guitar Center, and everytime we got one of those kits in stock, I ended up having to put it together, and I dreaded it like you wouldn't believe. It took me 2.5 hours just to put the things together, let alone the 1 hour it took to tune them. They're terrible drums, sound and quality wise. It's just a lousy kit, and Premier knows some stupid parents will go out and buy it because little Johnny wants to take up the drums. If there is anyone reading this that's a beginner or is looking to start playing the drums, I'd recommend a decent starter Tama Rockstar kit. At least, those hold up... =)
