After finallt getting round to fitting a new kick skin (batterhead), I was thinking about getting a Remo Pinstripe. I kinda want a sound kinda like Grohl's-beefy,sorta clicky with control. Is a Pinstripe the way to go? And do y'all reckon I should use clear or coated? Cheers

Personally, I think most of his sound is in the production (mic. choice, placement, eq etc.) but to get a similar sound, a medium to loose tension powerstroke 3 head with an Evans blue patch would suffice!

Hope it helps, Leon of Elfin
