I know this question has been asked many many times about tom on a snare stand and not getting enough resonance. The only solution to this question is RIMS.I e-mailed Rims about this problem and they told me to buy the dynamount floor tom system without legs and brackets that not only works for floor toms but works for toms on a snare stand as well. They have sold many systems for this solution. If any one has a better idea please let me know and I can save $93.95 including shipping!

Thank's

Tim
