Do you guys have skins on both ends of the 3 toms? what sounds better ?

I, after recent trusted advice, have changed all my tom skins to remo ambasodor coated on top and bottom.
I had to change the skins through ware and tear and had used remo pinstripe on top and remo thin things (can't rember the name sorry) on the bottom giving a pingy, bright sort of sound.
I wanted a more fuller 60's / 70's sound and after tuning the kit have only what i can call a brand new kit.
I am very happy with this set up but each to his/her thing.
