Hi All, Just wondering if anyone knows of a supplier of drum shells, rods, loops, lugs etc... in the United Kingdom.

I sure there must be a supplier similar to drummaker.com but in the UK.

Thanks for any help.

www.stdrums.de is in Germany, so you should be able to order without paying the 17.5% VAT on import since it's within the EU. But the prices are high enough that it would be cheaper to import from the USA and pay the VAT/Duty/shipping.........in the UK? No idea. Tell me if you find anyone,

Btw, check out someone called Gary Noonan, I know he used to run a UK-based custom drum operation with Keller shells, no idea where he got his parts from or what his contact info is. Try old issues of Rhythm magazine. IIRC, they banned him from advertising after DW complained (he had claimed that his snares were the same as DWs (they used Keller shells, as DW used to), when by that time DW had started making their own shells. I'm not sure when he placed his last ad. Check in the ads section if you've got a mag from at least a year ago or so.

Hi Andy,

I know about your service, an what a good one it is if your in the USA, but delivering to the UK can wipe out any cost benifits.

Thanks for the advice though.
