Oh my god I am just so happy right now i had to come here and tell you all. I have owned my pearl mmx custom set for about 2 years at this point and it has never really resonated or sounded as good as I wanted it to. About a week ago I decided I was going to give up and trade it in for a tama star classic, but behold I fixed the problem. The week before I was getting ready to sell it I decided I had to go get new heads for it because I couldn't sell it with my worn out pinstripes. so i then went out and decided to buy a new kind of drum head that I had never purchased before. and let me tell you this,......Out of all the heads I have ever tried in my life, the AQUARIAN performance 2 heads are the best thing I have ever heard. So now I am keeping my pearl, and never buying anything else than these babies ever again.
So try them out they kick ass.
