What does the WFL mean and when did Ludwig drop it from thier logo Thanks

It stands for William F. Ludwig. They used that name after they sold the name Ludwig. I'm not sure of the exact dates. First it was Ludwing, then WFL, then Ludwig again. And of course there was a Leedy and Ludwig also for a while.

Eww. I do not like ludwig Drums theirs just something about the sound.

Now the new drums aren't bad either ..

Me i just like old drum's to me they sound better ...Shell's are made better the the new one's ...But one thing ...Old drums will never go out of stlye !!

I am old school .and that is who i am .I will never change ...

Comp" That bought Ludwig out ..Is the Man still has his name writen all over it ...Mr Ludwig ....Me and him Go's back a hell a long time ...Over 80 years or more ....Part of our Famliy " He is still making the Ludwig drums to this day ...Good Guy ,Well Known ...Really well known...
