what would be the best sounding Yamaha set of drums would it be Absolute Birch, Nouveau, Maple to use for basically a Jazz Group type of gigs

Hey Rogers,from expierience I would go with with the maple.Maple has a lot warmer tone than birch.I have a birch set of premier top of the line and the birch has a brighter tone. I have a friend that has a set of yamaha beechwood set that souds pretty nice but I would still go with the maple. Hopes this helps!
